Senior Design Manager (Interior Design)

Our client is a premier global construction and consultancy firm. In line with their expanding portfolio of regional commercial office projects, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager (Interior Design) to drive design excellence across the APAC region.


Job Duties:

  • Oversee design quality control and compliance, actively resolving any design discrepancies or technical issues with key project stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert to mentor teams, offering strategic advice and training to elevate overall project execution.
  • Bridge communication across local, regional, and global divisions to ensure strict consistency in design guidelines, operational workflows, and approval processes.
  • Track project performance to identify potential design risks, providing actionable insights and presenting regular reports to senior management.
  • Champion continuous process enhancements by evaluating project data and implementing best practices from post-project reviews.
  • Cultivate lasting partnerships with clients, leveraging deep technical knowledge to steer project success and guide decision-making.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' solid experience in interior design or project management, with a proven track record specifically focused on managing large-scale commercial workplace projects.
  • Solid background in overseeing full-cycle project delivery, with a strong emphasis on design management and quality assurance.
  • Experienced in directing cross-functional teams and managing large-scale, multi-regional corporate programs.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior executives and navigating complex corporate and regulatory landscapes.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
  • Must be physically based in Hong Kong for a full-time capacity.
